(Redwood City, CA) The San Mateo County Registration and Elections Division continues to process ballots received for the November 3, 2015 Consolidated Municipal, School and Special District All-Mailed Ballot Election.
As of 3 pm, November 4, 2015, the Registration and Elections Division received an additional 23,214 vote-by-mail ballots which remain to be processed. To date, we have received a total of 100,058 vote-by-mail ballots.
The following information is provided as an update on the number of vote-by-mail ballot envelopes remaining to be processed, along with their points of origin.
- USPS Facility in San Francisco – 10,768 ballots
- USPS Facility in San Mateo – 3,103 ballots
- Universal Polling Places (UPP) – 4,967 VBM ballots
- City/Town Halls – 3,463 VBM ballots
- Voting Centers – 769 VBM ballots
- Provisional Ballots – 144
These are raw numbers and are subject to change daily as additional ballots are received from the United States Postal Service. Every vote-by-mail ballot envelope must be postmarked no later than November 3, 2015, and received by the Registration and Elections Division no later than November 6, 2015, in order for the ballot to be counted.
