(Redwood City, CA) Primary and rebuttal arguments have been filed for the March 28, 2017 San Mateo-Foster City Elementary School District Special Election, and the rebuttal arguments and an impartial analysis of the ballot measure are now open for public review. The 10-calendar-day public review period opened on January 17, 2017 and will remain open until 5 p.m. on January 27, 2017.

The review period provides the public an opportunity to read and challenge the language of the rebuttal arguments, which are available for review at the Registration and Elections Division website, www.shapethefuture.org, or at 40 Tower Road, San Mateo, CA 94402.

During the 10-calendar-day public review period, registered voters, who are eligible to vote on the measure, may seek a judicial writ of mandate or injunction requiring any or all of the materials to be amended or deleted. The request for a writ of mandate or injunction shall be filed no later than the end of the review period.

The ballot question, text of the measure, the arguments in favor and against, the rebuttals, and the impartial analysis are published on the Registration & Elections website, www.shapethefuture.org, as soon as it is permissible by law.
