New 2022 Political Districts
You will be voting for representatives using the new district boundaries during the June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election and November 8, 2022 General Election; however, your current representatives remain in office until December 2022 or January 2023.
Change of Mailing Address Request
Every registered voter in San Mateo County will be mailed a ballot for the June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election. You do not need to do anything to have a ballot sent to your registered address.

Find My Vote Center & Ballot Box Locations
You may visit any of the accessible Vote Centers in the County to register to vote, vote in person, return a voted ballot or request a replacement ballot.
U.S. Senate Contests
There are two contests for U.S. Senate on the June ballot. You can vote for both contests.
- One is to serve the full 2023-2029 term.
- The other is to complete the remainder of the 2017-2023 term.
Candidate Registration Form
Candidates running for office for the June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election should complete the Candidate Registration Form and email it to email@example.com. Upon receipt of the completed Candidate Registration Form, our office will call the candidate to set up a filing appointment to complete the candidate filing process.
