Tab-separated Format - This new report in a plain-text, delimited format allows for greater data analysis. It contains a detailed breakdown of votes cast by Precinct, Contest, Candidate and type (Early,Vote-by-Mail or Election Day).
Precinct Report – Preliminary report available after Semi Final results posted at the end of the evening on Election Night.
Statement of the Vote (SOV) PDF Format – The Statement of Vote will be published at the time of the certification of the election, within 30 days of election day. It is a listing of all election contests by total, by precinct, by cities, by districts, including write-in votes.
By this date the Secretary of State shall issue a notice designating the offices, except those of county officers and judges, for which candidates are to be nominated in the direct primary election. (Note: Deadline falls on a holiday. Date is moved to next business day on January 4, 2016, per EC §15)
You may register at any time, but to be eligible to vote in an upcoming election, your Voter Registration Form must be applied on-line by midnight no later than 15 days before that election. If you are mailing a Voter Registration Form, it must be postmarked no later than 15 days before that election and received by the San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division by the close of the polls on election day.
The registration deadline for the June 7, 2016 election is May 23, 2016.
