Random Alpha Draw Scheduled for Contests on the June 5, 2012 Presidential Primary Ballot

Contact: Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-RecorderAlternate: David Tom, Elections Manager (Redwood City, CA) On Thursday, March 15th at 11 a.m., the Elections Office and the Secretary of States’ Office will conduct random alpha drawings.  The random alpha drawings are done to determine the order of candidates’ names on the ballot and to assign letter names to measures that will appear on the ballot for the June 5, 2012 Presidential Primary Election.
