Thirty-nine Vote Centers Open for the November 6, 2018 Statewide General Election from November 3 through Election Day

(Redwood City, CA) Thirty-nine Vote Centers will be open beginning Saturday, November 3, 2018 and remain open through November 6 for the Statewide General Election. Every city in San Mateo County will have at least one Vote Center, with larger cities having two or more.

The list of Vote Center locations is available online at www.smcacre.org/current-election or call 650.312.5222.

Hours of operation for the Vote Centers are as follows:

  • Saturday, November 3, 2018 through Monday, November 5, 2018
    9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
     
  • Tuesday, November 6 (Election Day)
    7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Completed ballots can be returned in a postage-paid envelope, placed in an official Ballot Drop Box or voted in person at a Vote Center.

Residents who are eligible to vote, but did not register previously, may conditionally register to vote at a Vote Center through Election Day.  They will be able to vote provisionally at the same time. 

Voters are encouraged to use the “Track and Confirm” tool on www.smcacre.org to track when the Registration & Elections Division received their voted ballot. Voters can also confirm if their ballot was accepted.

The Registration & Elections Division offers a toll-free hotline, 888.762.8683, to provide assistance in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Filipino. Chat and text features have recently been added to the Division’s website at www.smcacre.org.
