By order of the San Mateo County Health Officer, ACRE Offices will be temporarily closed from March 17, 2020 until further notice.
This action is taken to protect the public and employees from potential exposure to the Novel Coronavirus COVID–19.
Please be aware that our employees will be working remotely and that essential services will continue to be available on a limited basis.

The Clerk-Recorder’s Office is now offering both online marriage licenses and online marriage licenses in conjunction with a virtual marriage ceremony. Please email CountyClerk@smcacre.org with your name and phone number to schedule an appointment.
The Registration & Elections Division at 40 Tower Road in San Mateo is open to the public. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments for non-voting related matters are recommended.
