(Redwood City, CA) San Mateo County will begin posting election results for the March 7, 2017 Menlo Park City Elementary School District Special Election on the Registration & Elections Division website www.shapethefuture.org, starting at 8:05 p.m. on Election Night. The site will be updated on the half-hour until all precincts have been reported.

“While authors of measures and their arguments are interested in the results, it is equally important to provide efficient reporting of election results to the public on Election Night,” said Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder.

The results release for Election Night begins at 8:05 p.m., reporting on the Vote by Mail Ballots and Mail Ballot Precincts, and continues with Voting Center results at 9:00 p.m., continuing each half-hour with polling place results until complete.

The post-election results release schedule will be posted on the website after Election Day.

Election results are available in PDF and HTML format on the Registration & Elections Division website, at the “Get Election Results” link. The website’s “Precinct Tracker” tool monitors the movement of voted precinct ballots from each polling place to the Registration & Elections Division Tally Room.

The Registration & Elections Division will send e-mail alerts to interested members of the public as new results are posted online. Requests can be made online at www.shapethefuture.org.
