(Redwood City, CA) A total of eighteen Vote Centers will be open beginning Saturday, November 2, 2019 and remain open through November 5 for the Consolidated Municipal, School and Special District Election. Every city in San Mateo County, in areas holding elections, will have at least one Vote Center, with larger cities having two or more.
Vote Centers offer voters accessible ballot marking tablets, replacement Vote by Mail ballots, multilingual assistance and the ability to register/re-register to vote and vote on the same day.

- Cabrillo Unified School District
- City of Brisbane
- City of Burlingame
- City of San Bruno
- Redwood City School District
- San Mateo-Foster City School District

Hours of operation for the Vote Centers are as follows:
- Saturday, November 2, 2019 through Monday, November 4
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Tuesday, November 5 (Election Day)
7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Eligible voters, in jurisdictions holding elections, received Vote by Mail ballots commencing, Monday, October 7, 2019. Voted ballots can be returned in the postage-paid envelope provided, placed in an official Ballot Drop Box or returned to any Vote Center.
Voters are encouraged to go to www.smcvote.org and select My Election Info to track when the Registration & Elections Division received their voted ballot. Voters can also confirm if their ballot was accepted.

All-Mailed Ballot – Vote Center Election Model for November 5, 2019
The November 5, 2019 Consolidated Municipal, School and Special District Election will be the third election San Mateo County conducts under the California Voter’s Choice Act model. Traditional polling places have been replaced by Vote Centers, which will be open for voting for a greater period, and which will offer expanded voter services including voter registration, multilingual assistance, and disabled access voting options. Every registered voter, in a jurisdiction holding an election, will receive a Vote by Mail Ballot, which can be returned with no postage required in any mailbox or ballot drop box located throughout the county.
