Election Materials Proofreader
The San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division is seeking full-time seasonal extra-help Election Materials Proofreaders to assist in the upcoming March 2020 Election.
Successful candidates for the Proofreader positions will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least six-months experience proofreading documents and/or translating in English, Spanish, and/or Chinese. A background in proofreading, editing, journalism, translating, or other related field is preferred with technical skills that include strong English monolingual skills for the English Proofreading Team), and bilingual skills in English and Spanish/Chinese for the Spanish and Chinese Proofreading Teams. Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word, and competency in Adobe PDF are necessary for success.
